Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds

1) Cancellations

What happens if I cancel my booking?
The cancellation policy may vary depending on the type of package:

  • Standard packages:
    • More than 30 days before the start date: the deposit will be forfeited, with the option to reschedule the trip for different dates (subject to availability).
    • Between 15 and 30 days before the start date: the deposit will be forfeited.
    • Less than 15 days before the start date: 100% of the total amount will be forfeited.
  • Custom packages:
    • More than 30 days before the start date: the deposit and any non-refundable bookings already paid for will be forfeited.
    • Less than 30 days before the start date: 100% of the total amount will be forfeited.

What if I need to cancel for a valid reason?
We recommend purchasing cancellation insurance that covers unexpected events (medical reasons, family emergencies, etc.). Depending on the policy, it may provide partial or full refunds.

2) Changes and modifications before the trip

Can I change the date or participants before the trip begins?

Once the deposit has been received, the itinerary is considered final. Any changes (for example, adding pilgrims or changing dates) are subject to availability and these conditions. In some cases, adding participants may require a new booking.

  • Date changes: these may incur additional costs, and availability is not guaranteed, especially when requested with less than 15 days’ notice.
  • Name changes: these may incur an additional charge of €50 per participant and depend on the availability of the booked services.
  • Reduction in the number of participants: if requested more than 15 days in advance, there is no penalty, but the price per person may change.

Are there any discounts for booking more than one route?
If you book more than one route (e.g. Sarria–Santiago and a Santiago–Finisterre extension) as part of the same booking, a discount of €50 may be applied to the second package.

3) Changes during the trip

What if I am unhappy with the booked accommodation?

  • Before the trip begins, when the itinerary is provided, it is the client’s responsibility to review the accommodation. If any accommodation presents a potential issue, you must let us know so that we can consider alternatives before the start of the trip.
  • Once the trip has begun, any accommodation changes will be the client’s responsibility, including all arrangements and costs.
  • If you change accommodation, you must inform us so that we can coordinate related services (e.g. luggage transfers).

Can I move my itinerary forward by one day?

  • If you wish to move stages forward or make similar changes, the arrangements will be the client’s responsibility. We can advise you on the impact, but we may not always be able to arrange changes while you are en route.

What if I am injured and want to modify the itinerary?

  • In the event of an injury, a common solution is to keep the itinerary unchanged and use taxis/transfers to travel between accommodations.
  • If you wish to stay an extra day to recover, any additional costs will be the client’s responsibility and are subject to availability.
  • We recommend having travel insurance to cover these situations.

4) Issues caused by missed schedules

What happens if I am not at the agreed time/place for a service (transfer, activity, etc.)?

  • The service provider may wait for a maximum of 15 minutes after the agreed time.
  • If the client does not show up (No-Show), the service will be considered provided and no refund will be issued.

Can I reschedule a missed service?

  • This may be possible subject to availability, and any additional costs will be the client’s responsibility.

5) Services booked by the client without the agency’s involvement

If the client books accommodation, transportation, or other services independently, the agency will not be responsible for any issues arising from those external bookings.

Luggage transfers when I book my own accommodation

  • If you book accommodation independently, luggage transfers may require alternative arrangements (for example, a taxi), and it is essential to follow the specified drop-off/pick-up instructions to avoid any issues.
